The “We Are All Connected Art Project” grew out of feelings of isolation and broken connections.I was looking for a way to share this feeling with other people when I discovered a white puzzle. Since puzzles are known all over the world it seemed a perfect metaphor for something that fits and works together.

I am primarily a contemporary abstract painter unaccustomed to doing a not-for-profit conceptual art project. However, when I started receiving letters and notes from artists and others from all over the world thanking me, I knew I had to continue.

Now, more than three years later, I have over 2200 pieces including ones by Ai Weiwei and Jorge Tacla. Artists from over 50 countries including England, Sweden, Israel, Scotland, Germany, Italy, Canada, Guatemala, The Netherlands, Turkey, Australia, Argentina, France and Switzerland have already participated.

The response from the artists has been incredible and beyond generous. Each piece isposted on Instagram, the current social media language.

My intention is to gather and express the power of this voice at a time when the world seems deeply divided.
